Welcome to Paris Unscripted. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making your reservation.

1. BOOKING & PAYMENT

1.1 Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed once full payment has been received and you have received a confirmation email from Paris Unscripted. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours.

1.2 Payment
We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and PayPal through our secure booking platform. All prices are in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

1.3 Group Size
Tour group sizes are limited as specified for each tour (typically 6-12 guests maximum). We reserve the right to cancel a tour if minimum participant requirements are not met (see Section 3).

2. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

2.1 Cancellations by Customer

• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled tour start time for a full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour start time are non-refundable.
• To cancel, contact us at contact@parisunscripted.com with your booking reference number.

2.2 No-Shows
If you do not arrive at the meeting point within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, you will be considered a no-show and no refund will be provided.

2.3 Cancellations by Paris Unscripted
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to insufficient bookings, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive:

• A full refund, OR
• The option to reschedule to another available date at no additional cost.

We will notify you as soon as possible if a tour must be cancelled.

3. RESCHEDULING

3.1 Customer Requests
You may reschedule your tour free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time, subject to availability. Reschedule requests made less than 48 hours before the tour are subject to availability and may incur rebooking fees.

3.2 How to Reschedule
Contact us at contact@parisunscripted.com with your booking reference and preferred new date.

4. TOUR PARTICIPATION

4.1 Age Requirements

• Most tours are suitable for participants aged 12+.
• Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Some tours (e.g., Luxury Gourmet Evening) may have age restrictions due to venue policies.

4.2 Physical Requirements
Certain tours involve significant walking, stairs, or climbing (e.g., Eiffel Tower Climbing Tour with 674 steps). Please assess your fitness level before booking. If you have concerns, contact us before booking.

4.3 Dietary Restrictions & Allergies
For food tours, please notify us of any dietary restrictions, allergies, or special requirements at the time of booking. While we will make every effort to accommodate, we cannot guarantee allergen-free environments at all venues.

4.4 Conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward guides, other guests, and venue staff. Paris Unscripted reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, offensive, or unsafe, with no refund provided.

5. MEETING POINTS & PUNCTUALITY

5.1 Meeting Points
Each tour has a designated meeting point specified in your confirmation email. Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

5.2 Late Arrivals
Tours depart on time to respect all participants' schedules. If you arrive late, we cannot guarantee the tour will wait, and no refund will be provided for missed tours.

5.3 Contact Information
Your confirmation email will include a contact number for your guide. If you are running late or cannot find the meeting point, please call or message immediately.

6. INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS

6.1 What's Included
Each tour page clearly specifies what is included (e.g., food, drink, tickets, guide). Unless explicitly stated, the following are NOT included:

• Transportation to/from the meeting point
• Gratuities for guides (optional but appreciated)
• Personal expenses
• Travel insurance

6.2 Food & Beverage Inclusions
For food tours, all tastings specified in the tour description are included. Additional purchases at venues are at your own expense.

7. HEALTH & SAFETY

7.1 Health Considerations
Participants must be in sufficient health to complete the tour. If you have any medical conditions that may affect your participation, please inform us at booking.

7.2 COVID-19 & Illness
If you are feeling unwell on the day of your tour, please do not attend. Contact us to reschedule (subject to our cancellation policy).

7.3 Weather
Tours operate rain or shine unless severe weather poses a safety risk. Dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.

8. PHOTOGRAPHY & PRIVACY

8.1 Tour Photography
Your guide may take photos during the tour for marketing purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your image in Paris Unscripted's promotional materials (website, social media, etc.). If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour.

8.2 Personal Photography
You are welcome to take photos during the tour. Please be respectful of private property, other guests, and venue policies (e.g., no flash photography in museums).

9. LIABILITY & INSURANCE

9.1 Limitation of Liability
Paris Unscripted acts as an intermediary between you and third-party service providers (restaurants, venues, transportation). We are not liable for:

• Injury, loss, or damage caused by third-party providers
• Personal belongings lost or stolen during the tour
• Delays, cancellations, or changes by third-party venues

9.2 Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.

9.3 Participant Responsibility
You are responsible for your own safety and belongings during the tour. Please follow your guide's instructions and stay with the group.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

Paris Unscripted is not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Strikes or labor disputes
• Government restrictions or regulations
• Pandemics or public health emergencies

In such cases, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Paris Unscripted website, including text, images, logos, and tour descriptions, is the intellectual property of Paris Unscripted and may not be reproduced without permission.

12. PRIVACY POLICY

13. CHANGES TO TERMS & CONDITIONS

Paris Unscripted reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
